Current Volunteering Positions
Digital Officer
Alongside the CEO, Head of Operations, and Social Media team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our website is kept updated, contains relevant information and links, as well as adhering to the guidance provided by our Accessibility Officer.
The role is perfect for a proactive individual who enjoys ensuring all tech is smooth, accurate and accessible, and who is looking to use their expertise, experience and skills to help drive TRC to greatness.
Corporate Partnerships Manager
With support from the CEO and Head of Operations, you will be responsible for cultivating new corporate relationships for the purposes of fundraising and creating meaningful connections for our work. This could be gaining sponsors for our Mentorship Programme, or engaging volunteers through a company’s CSR duties. Great for someone who truly believes in our mission, and is able to communicate that passion to everyone they come into contact with!

Donor Experience Officer
You will be responsible for managing our supporter base, attracting new donors and helping to retain our existing ones. Communicating with our donors and obtaining feedback is imperative in making one-time supporters convert into regular donors, so we’ll need you to be inspiring and know your stuff!
This position is perfect for a proactive individual who enjoys building relationships, has great ideas for income generation and the drive to engage supporters.
Tales of Diversity Blog Writer
We are seeking several Blog Writers to join our small team here at The Reading Corner. Our blog Tales of Diversity was our first ever project, and we have interviewed over 100 authors from diverse backgrounds as part of our mission to celebrate the richness of our differences and empower diverse voices. This role is great for volunteers who love to read books in advance of publication, and can write thought-provoking questions for our lovely authors to shine a light on their voice.
